Ambassador Kocharian met with the Prime Minister of Lebanon

On August 6, 2014 Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon Ashot Kocharian had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Tammam Salam.

Ambassador Kocharian handed over to the Prime Minister the official invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan to visit Armenia. During the meeting the sides emphasized the high level of bilateral relations between two friendly countries.

At the same time the necessity of deepening and expanding trade relations, holding the session of intergovernmental commission, as well as the importance of the organization of business forum in the nearest future was stressed.

The issues relating to the internal situation in Lebanon, as well as regional developments were touched upon. The important role of the Lebanese Armenian community in the development of Lebanon was highlighted.

The Prime Minister of Lebanon expressed his gratitude for the invitation and asked to convey his warm greetings to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan.
