On October 25, 2016 Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian met with Foreign Minister of Lebanon Gebran Bassil.
During the meeting the sides discussed the additional efforts directed at further development and deepening of cooperation in various fields of bilateral relations. In this sense, the role of Lebanese Armenian community, which is actively and constructively involved in political, economic and cultural life of Lebanon, was highlighted.
Interlocutors exchanged views on organization of high level visits, as well as activation of cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
They reflected on latest internal political developments in Lebanon as well.
