Ambassador Kocharian met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon

On January 22, 2015 Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon AshotKocharianwas received by the Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri. During the meeting the sides discussed issues relating to bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries and prospects of expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation. Importance of the exchange of high level visits was highlighted.

Upon the request of Nabih Berry Ambassador Kocharian briefed the latter about the joint efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs states towards peaceful settlement of the NagornoKarabagh issue. Commemorative events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide as well as the most recent internal and regional developments were also touched upon at the meeting.
