The first presentation of the research was held in “Armenian House” in London, in November 2013.

The event was attended by Government officials, Ambassadors accredited to Lebanon, religious leaders, Lebanese Armenian Community leaders and Representatives of Armenian various organizations.

Katya Peltekian - the author and the editor of the research presented details about the work which has been done during 12 years.

Anita Libiar in her statement delivered on behalf of Lebanese Centenary Central Committee highly commended the research.

In his speech the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon Ashot Kocharian congratulated Katya Peltekian for her in-depth study, comprehensive and very important work. He mentioned that the first international reaction to the Genocide of Armenians was resulted in a joint statement in May 1915, by Great Britain, France and Russia where the Turkish atrocities directed against the Armenian people was defined as a “new crime against humanity and civilization” agreeing that the Turkish government must be punished for committing such crimes.

The Ambassador commended the vibrant Armenian community of Lebanon particularly  Centenary Central Committee for implementation of important projects of targeted and purpose-oriented importance. He emphasized the necessity of unification of efforts, close co-operation with all Pan-Armenian structures, coordination of activities aimed at restoration of justice, promotion of the process of international recognition, condemnation, punishment and elimination of the consequences of the Armenian Genocide.
