Armenia day in St. Joseph University

Upon the initiative of the Embassy of Armenia a function dedicated to Armenia was organized at the French St. Joseph University.

In his welcoming speech lecturer of the University Gerard Bejani emphasized the main objective of the function: to directly get familiar with Armenia and its culture. He commended the efforts of individuals who organized one week trip to Armenia, also a great support of the Embassy.

Mr. Bejani’s speech was followed by presentation of the Ambassador Kocharian who introduced Armenia, history of Armenian people, economic developments, investment opportunities, cultural and touristic sites of modern Armenia. He also touched upon the issue of Armenian-Lebanese bilateral relations.

Ambassador’s presentation was accompanied by the sliding photoshow on Armenia.

After a small reception a concert of the “Ayg” choir, conductor Zakar Keshishian, was performed in St. Joseph church. There was also an exhibition organized within the framework of the evening.
