First Republic Day Celebration in Ainjar

On May 28, 2011 an official function dedicated to the Republic Day was held.

The main speaker of the event was Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon who congratulated all present people with the National Holiday and then spoke about the hard history of Armenian people full of struggle, deprivation, losses and heroic victories. He stressed that Armenian people always was guided by the idea of Independence and Independent Armenia. He highly appreciated activities of various structures of Ainjar aimed at preservation of rich educational, cultural and spiritual values.

Ambassador Kocharian wished new achievements and all the success to Musa Ler‑Ainjar people and expressed his conviction that thanks to solidarity and unity of Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora Armenian people will overcome all challenges and difficulties in solving issues of all Armenian importance.

Mayor of Ainjar, leaders of national structures, spiritual leaders, citizens of Ainjar and the whole staff of the Armenian Embassy were present at the function which was completed by a concert.
