Ambassador Kocharyan handed over congratulaty letters and donations of the President of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanese-Armenian Institutions

On December 24, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon organized a meeting for the editors-in-chief of Aztag, Zartonk and Ararat Dailies, as well as the heads of “Birds’ Nest”  institution and “Zvartnots” Center for Armenian children with mental problems, which is the part of the union of social servants of the Armenian community in Lebanon.

Ambassador Ashot Kocharyan handed over congratulatory letters of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and donations to the representatives of Armenian structures on the eve of the New Year and Christmas. In the message of the President addressed to the Armenian dailies the following is mentioned.

“I am convinced that both in the year of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and in future thanks to your flexibility and professionalism you with honor will overcome all difficulties and will be victorious in the propaganda war  continuing to cover  the issues of pan-national significance at a possible high level. I am confident that you will consistently present the issues of national concern by publishing materials relating to the rich history, heritage and values of Armenia, Artsakh,  Diaspora and the Armenian people.”

In his letters addressed to the leaders of the “Birds’ Nest” and “Zvartnots” institutions, the President highly commended dedicated and diligent activities of the teachers aimed at the educational and physical development of Armenian children and youth and at the improvement of their state of mind. The President assured that “the Homeland is always with you and proudly follows your achievements.”

Editors-in-chief  of the newspapers, leaders of the ,,Birds’ Nest” and “Zvartnots” institutions expressed their deep gratitude to the President Serzh Sargsyan for his continuous care and attention and assured that they wouldn’t spare efforts to continue their activities for preservation of the Armenian identity, Armenian upbringing and the deepening of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership.
