Concert dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Beirut

On August 8, 2015 in the framework of Beiteddine Art Festival Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra headed by its conductor and artistic director Eduard Topchyan, with participation of State Chamber Choir, “Hover,, Chamber Choir and violinist Sergey Khachatryan performed a big concert in Lebanon dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The concert took place upon the invitation of the organizers of the festival and with support of A.G.B.U. Armenian musicians in presence of 3000 spectators performed works of Brahms, Mozart, Aram Khachaturian, and Tigran Mansurian. Members of Government and Parliament of Lebanon, officials, Ambassador of Armenia in Lebanon Ashot Kocharian, spiritual leaders, artists and lovers of music were present at the concert. After the concert in honor of the Armenian musicians a reception was organized in the courtyard of Beiteddine Presidential Palace.
