“Beirut Money Fair 2016”

From 9 to 11 of September 2016 “Beirut Money Fair” was organized in Lebanon.
Over 50 local, regional and international mint and banknote producing companies were represented at the fair with their pavilions.
On the eve, on September 8th an auction was held by an international auctioneer. The purpose of the event was to enable currency dealers and specialized institutions to establish cooperation.
The fair hosted around 5000 visitors. Official opening ceremony of the “Beirut Money Fair” took place on September 9th. The Armenian Jewelry Factory-1/ GNOMON has been representing the Republic of Armenia. GNOMON presented commemorative medals. Its pavilion was distinguished with high quality and innovative approach.
Ambassador of Armenia Mr. Samvel Mkrtchian and the Embassy staff participated at the opening of the fair. Ambassador Mkrtchian emphasized the importance of participation of Armenia in such kind of exhibitions.
According to Ambassador, such events contribute to revealing of Armenia’s various capabilities and help to establish and enlarge of trade and economic ties.
